The full product is available on Microsoft Windows (32- and 64-bit) platforms. In addition, the EM Solver and FLEXnet license server are supported on Sun Solaris platforms.

Hardware requirements for 32-bit Microsoft Windows

A system with an Intel or AMD compatible processor (clock speed 1 GHz or higher). Multiple processors are supported.
Minimum 512 MB of RAM (up to 2 GB can be used to run simulations).
>130 MB of free hard disk space, plus an additional 70 MB during installation, for temporary files.

Software requirements for 32-bit Microsoft Windows

The following 32-bit Microsoft Windows platforms are supported:

Windows 2000 Professional with Service Pack 4
Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2
Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 or higher (Standard and Enterprise editions)
Windows Vista (Business, Enterprise and Ultimate editions)

Note: This is the last major MicroStripes release to support Windows 2000.

Hardware requirements for 64-bit Microsoft Windows (x64 editions)

A system with a 64-bit capable AMD processor or an Intel processor with EM64T. Multiple processors are supported.
Minimum 512 MB of RAM
>130 MB of free hard disk space, plus an additional 70 MB during installation, for temporary files.

Software requirements for 64-bit Microsoft Windows (x64 editions)

The following 64-bit Microsoft Windows x64 platforms are supported:

Windows XP x64 edition
Windows Server 2003 x64 editions (Standard and Enterprise)
Windows Vista (Business, Enterprise and Ultimate editions)

Note: This release of MicroStripes does not support Itanium editions of 64-bit Windows.
